I started making the angels as holiday gifts. Each item is hand cut stainless steel ground and polished with a welded hook on the back. They are intended to be used as wall hangings that reflect light from a wall across from a window. The special; grinding technique makes for beautiful featherlike patterns. I made my first double angel for a special patron’s wedding, and have offered them as wedding presents, anniversary, or any occasion. I have made hundreds of these Angels and Ospreys as fundraisers for my larger projects where I give 30% of sale to the nonprofit sponsoring my public work.
